The one which happened today was the longest thus far - 6 minutes and 13 secs
with Shanghai getting the most out of it.
It is the longest Solar Eclipse this century with the next Eclipse coming July 2011.
If you are wondering when the next long Eclipse would come it would be not until the year 2132.
